Our COVID19 Safety Measures

To protect our vendors, viewers, clients and staff, we have a few new safety measures in place which will minimise the risk of coronavirus!

• The office has had screens fitted and 2 metre floor stickers applied to minimise risk to and from clients in the office. Staff will ensure they wash their hands/ use hand sanitiser/ wear gloves frequently, but especially when they are in contact with clients or paperwork/ keys.

• We will ensure that internal doors are open and will make sure that the front office door is wiped down regularly.

• We will maintain social distancing of 2 metres where possible. We have screens fitted at our reception desk, social distancing markings on our floor and policies in place for antibacterial cleansing of surfaces.

• For viewings and other appointments, we will be asking that if you display any symptoms of Covid 19 i.e. cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, are in the ‘at risk’ category or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with you should not visit.

• If possible, the occupiers of the property should clean all surfaces with antibacterial wipes and ideally vacate the property before a visit takes place.

• We will allow no more than two adults to view a property at one time. Unfortunately, we cannot allow children at any time which may mean you will need to split your party/group over two visits. Customers who are not accompanied on an ‘active’ visit will be asked to remain in their vehicle.

• We will send out a questionnaire which must be completed prior to your viewing or valuation to allow us to determine any risks or precautions that we need to take.

• We would ask that if you have masks, gloves or hand sanitiser that you bring these to the appointment with you.

• We have a disclosure which is required to be completed and returned prior to your visit and we thank you for your understanding in this.

• Together we will try and keep everyone safe and maintain as normal an environment as we possibly can in these unfamiliar conditions.

• Agents will ensure that keys are wiped with antibacterial spray or wipes before handing out to a client or contractor.

• Before arranging an appointment for a property for videographers, EPC Assessors or surveyors we will check that our client is not within the vulnerable group, shielding, showing symptoms or anyone within their household has tested positive for COVID-19. Social distancing guidelines should be adhered to.

• For contractors and outside surveyors going into homes of our clients, we will ask the same questions regarding symptoms or any contact with people showing symptoms/ diagnosed with COVID19. Similarly, we will also request the occupier of the property to wipe down surfaces and vacate the property or maintain social distance of 2 metres.
