Alastair is Managing Director and leads the company with a progressive, forward thinking approach, he is always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to do things and keep the company ahead of the game. Alastair's passion for property and enthusiasm for people are two key qualities which drive him to create a culture for continued success at Hannath.
He joined the Hannath Team in 2007, in the early years of the company as a sales negotiator but given his skill set he became involved in every aspect of the business before being promoted to Sales Manager in 2014. He is now the Managing Director, moving into the position in 2018 heading up the company, and still gets the same buzz when getting a deal done and seeing home owners getting their new keys!
Alastair has lived in Portadown all his life, is married with three children and is an avid music and football fan. His taste in music is questionable being a Bon Jovi fan and he loves Man United! He is always up for a challenge and completed the Causeway Sportif charity cycle and has enjoyed swapping football for rugby during our tag tournaments in previous years. Alastair has given talks to students in Craigavon Senior High School on business and marketing in the last few years, an experience he thoroughly enjoyed.
Alastair is very focused on customer service and takes great pride in taking a hands on approach to deliver results for his clients. Always eager to assist home movers and prides himself in prompt communication at all times and always being at the end of the phone if anyone needs advice on their house move, property investment or all things property through Hannath.

Joining Hannath in 2013 was a well thought out decision for Ciaran; he believes it is the most trusted estate agency brand in Mid Ulster which offers clients a level of service and resources unmatched by the competition. After five years of hard work Ciaran is a now co-owner & director within the company and will continue to set standards in terms of both; performance & service.

Outside of the office Ciaran loves to spend time with his son Michael. He is also a very active person who competes in both individual & team fitness events throughout the UK & Ireland.
Gary is Director of Professional Services and has been a Chartered Valuation Surveyor since 2002. He has considerable and wide ranging experience in both residential and commercial property valuation throughout the Province. Always striving for attention to detail, Gary is known to always lead by example with his work ethic and value's based approach.
Over the years Gary has acted for a wide variety of clients from multi-national corporations to private individuals and always takes a client focused approach to his work. The range of work includes all aspects of property valuation for commercial and residential property, property consultancy and Landlord and Tenant advice.
As a Chartered Valuation Surveyor he has in depth knowledge of the local and wider property markets which have been honed from experience built over the years. Gary states "for me the key to providing the right advice and accurate valuations for our client's, is the ability to know and read the market. One of the main benefits at Hannath is the fact that we have a busy Estate Agency with a high volume of sales and lettings showing us at first hand the level of supply and demand in the market.
This gives us the ability to experience and analyse the market data at source giving us an advantage in the market place."
Outside of the office Gary loves to spend time with his wife and three children. He is also a keen road cyclist enjoying the thrill of racing and cycling holidays to warmer climates chasing down those epic climbs!
James is our Head of Lettings and Property Management. After graduating in 2010 James began his career as a property inspector for a well-regarded Lettings and Management company in Newcastle, England. Having ‘learned the ropes' he quickly moved to a property manager role and subsequently became office manager, overseeing a team of 6 staff. His move to Northern Ireland came in late 2013 where he joined a large, Belfast based company as the office manager of their flagship South Belfast branch. A busy and fruitful year brought a move to a role as Head of Rentals, heading up a team of 17 across 4 offices.
James joined us in September 2015 as part of our senior management team. Recognising the opportunity and potential to develop the Lettings side of the business, the department has subsequently grown year on year.
Out of the office James is a keen sportsman having played rugby league professionally in times gone by. He now enjoys the gym, boxing and hiking as well as spending time with his son, fiancee and family.
Laura began her role at Hannath in 2015 after a change in career path from senior management in an e-commerce environment.
After graduating from university, Laura moved across from England and brought over 5 years of e-commerce, sales, finance and management experience from her previous roles.
A series of promotions have permitted considerable personal and professional development and she is now studying for Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration. Laura currently works within the Professional Services department and is responsible for company compliance/ finance legislation, managing the day to day running of the office and looking after all aspects of our marketing.
Laura loves to travel to learn more about different countries/ cultures and also enjoys city breaks, beach holidays and skiing!
When she isn't jetting off across the world, she appreciates spending time with friends, watching football and boxing, and going to the gym.
Alison is one of our RICS Chartered Surveyors and is responsible for the Commercial Property Department in terms of the on-going sales and lettings activity and also to develop the property management portfolio.
Alison started her career as a graduate surveyor within the Agency Department at a leading Commercial Property Consultancy in Belfast. Following the economic downturn in 2007/2008, Alison's position changed as she moved into Property Management where she was responsible for a large portfolio of retail, office and industrial properties throughout the UK.
Alison has considerable experience in both Agency and Management roles and over the past 14 years has acted for a wide range of clients including corporate landlords, private individuals, banks and administrators. She takes pride in being organised, loves a good spreadsheet and maintains a client focused approach to her work.
Outside of work Alison is always on the go and is kept busy by her 3 young children. She loves outdoor activities and camping with her family but has recently opted for a cosier retreat and now enjoys her weekends at the North Coast in her caravan.
Gareth and Michael started the business in September 2004 and since then Gareth has developed a considerable experience in the local property market over the past 13 years having worked through the various stages of the volatile market cycle that occurred.
Gareth concentrates on carrying out market appraisals within the residential sales sector. He takes a detailed approach to each valuation and using his knowledge of the local market and understanding of the clients' needs he has built a reputation for delivering first class market appraisals with the honesty and accuracy that ultimately contributes to our success in selling.
Away from the office Gareth spends time with his wife Judith their boys Frank and Ted. Whilst his own rugby playing days are now a distant memory, Gareth is now involved with Portadown Mini rugby as a coach and still enjoys watching Ireland and Ulster.
Claire is one of our Sales Negotiators and joined the Hannath team in April 2019.
Before joining Hannath, Claire previously worked as an account manager in the wastewater management industry where she gained valuable skills which are necessary in her everyday duties. She has also worked in sales roles which involved contacting potential new business leads, along with interacting with existing customers. This experience overtime contributed to Claire's great customer service which will be provided when you have any dealings with her. Claire's outgoing personality and 'can do' attitude will aid her with her new role as she will be dealing with new people daily from many walks of life.
Outside of the office Claire enjoys spending time socialising with friends and family, she also enjoys spending time with her two dogs Pepe and Teddy and getting on weekends away whenever she can.
Adam is one our Sales Negotiators and joined the Hannath Team in November 2020.
Before joining Hannath, Adam previously worked as a Property Analyst, in the property industry, looking after new developments and completing GDV appraisals for various sites throughout Northern Ireland. He has also worked in sales roles and as a Sales Manager which involved contacting potential new clients and liaising with the existing client base, to increase sales opportunities. This experience has helped develop his customer service and sales skills which will be put to good use to help our Hannath clients with the purchase or sale of their home.
Adam is very friendly, energetic and enthusiastic and brings these qualities to every task he undertakes. Outside of work, he loves to spend time with his wife Julie and Son Rory, playing in local pool league tournaments and socialising with friends.
Christine focuses primarily on home viewings and customer service. Through her lively personality and enthusiastic approach she has built a great rapport with many buyers and sellers during her day to day role when, during each viewing she offers honest, clear and straight forward advice to every viewer as well as reporting feedback promptly to sellers.
Christine's career began in the airline industry where she gained a wealth experience of meeting and dealing with people from all walks of life. During her time with BMI British Midland Christine progressed through the ranks, managing staff and specialising in the field of Customer Service.
Christine changed career path and joined the team at Hannath in 2012 where she continues to fuel her passion for helping people and she enjoys nothing more than helping our customers find their dream home or investment property.
In her leisure time Christine enjoys travelling with her husband. Although they have visited various countries and enjoyed cruising to stunning destinations including Alaska and China their favourite trip remains to be the West Coast of Canada where they visited in 2015.
Claire joined the Hannath team in October 2017 as front of house and helps with day to day diary co-ordination. Claire also provides administration support to our fast-paced sales team to provide the most efficient experience for all of our clients whilst also looking after some of our sales.
Claire previously worked in the retail industry for 8 years where she gained a lot of experience dealing with different clientele but wished to pursue a change in career which led her to Hannath.
Outside of the office Claire enjoys spending time with family and friends. Claire also loves her holidays and enjoys getting away to the sun each year.
Chris is our Property Lettings Manager and is responsible for servicing our Landlords' and Tenants' maintenance needs.
Gaining experience in various fields of employment has helped him develop a varied skill set. Chris carried out his duties well, through hard work, determination and excellent customer service. He started his career in various customer service roles before moving into the electrical trade. Before joining our team he worked in a plumbing & heating sales and maintenance role. These roles have provided him with a thorough understanding of all areas of housing maintenance and will serve him well in his career at Hannath.
An enthusiastic team player Chris enjoys all aspects of his work but is particularly happy when out and about meeting people, and is driven by the need to help others.
In his time out of the office Chris is a very family orientated man, likes socialising with friends, is also a big football fan and likes classic rock music.
The newest and youngest member of our team, Robyn joined the lettings department in December 2019. Since coming through the door she has brought a refreshing sense of energy and enthusiasm that has resonated throughout the office.Coupling a 2 year business course and a background in retail and administration, she brings a wealth of experience in customer service that will be appreciated by applicants and tenants alike.
For Robyn, the property industry has always been part of her life, coming from a family that has heavy ties in the local property scene. She is excited to take her first steps in the industry and build on her existing passion.
Outside of work, Robyn enjoys spending time with her two dogs Harvey and Teddy as well as socialising with friends at the weekend. She enjoys seeing different parts of the world and hopes to tick off a long list of bucket list destinations.
Emma joined us in October 2020 as front of house. She has 13 years' experience in customer service roles in sectors such as airline, automotive & manufacturing.
Emma completed her NVQ business administration course giving her the essential skills to assist the day to day running of a busy office environment whilst providing a welcoming personality for clients.
Outside of the office, Emma loves camping, walking & spending time with her friends, family and cat Lola, who came all the way from the Middle East!
Stephanie joined the Hannath team in July 2010 with over 25 years experience working in the finance sector.
Working in the accounts department is a varied job role which includes balancing accounts, processing sales invoices, receipts and payments ,completing VAT returns and processing payroll. Spare time is spent being a mother to two teenagers which in itself is a full time job, walking and swimming for exercise and for leisure travelling as many times a year as possible.
Jamie studies Real Estate BSc (Hons) at Ulster University. He joined Hannath Estate Agents in July 2020 for student placement. Being quite new to the role, Jamie strives each day to learn as much as he can from those around him so that he can be well equipped as possible for his exciting career path in Real Estate within the future.
Energy, Passion, Dedication and Enthusiasm are important to Jamie during a day's work in this exciting industry. Jamie's genuine interest in real estate blossomed whilst watching A Place in the Sun with his mum and granda.
Jamie is a sports fanatic; he enjoys playing football for Moira Albion and religiously watches the football cheering on his favourite team Liverpool. Jamie likes to offer more to the community during his spare time by volunteering for an organisation named SOS Bus, helping those that are vulnerable during the late hours within the streets of Belfast.
