Now that 2021 has come to an end, we can take a quick look back and review the past year ...

We have had an excellent year at Hannath, albeit a strange one. We completed over 500 sales, 3442 accompanied viewings, and 493 valuations! We had 218 new resale listings and we also welcomed a new team member to the Lettings Team!

The year 2021 seen phenomenal demand for property, across all property types - new builds, resales and rentals. Demand was at an all time high but there wasn't enough properties available to meet the unprecedented demand ... we even had a property that sold in just three days! Properties didn't stay on the market for too long, with the average time on the market being just 43 days! Rental properties were snapped up even quicker, with average time on the market standing at just 26 days. 

What will 2022 bring for the Northern Ireland housing market?

A recent report from PropertyPal suggests that Northern Ireland is set to have around 33,000 housing transactions this year. They speak of how the market is settling and prices are generally starting to cool down, sales have also shown a gradual softening.

We are looking forward to what the market will bring and to another successful year ahead of us in 2022.

Community Work

As well as our ongoing sponsorships, we have worked closely with Café Abundance this year to provide help and support to families in need.

We have been able to help lots of people in the local community through collecting and delivering groceries, and now with our Christmas Toy Appeal to deliver toys to children in need.

These clubs do great work for the community and we have loved being a part of it!

Team Celebrations

 Our team have had some amazing personal celebrations and milestones this year ... We've had weddings, new team members including mini members, 30th and 50th birthdays, new build homes, new dogs, new cars, 15 years service and a recent engagement to name just a few! In what has been a strange year for us all, it's important to take time to celebrate all the positives that have came in 2021! Here's to more in 2022!
