Joining the company in November 2015 Michael is the newest member of our sales team. Gaining experience in various fields of employment has helped Michael develop a varied skill set in sales, customer service and legislation, all of which are key attributes for his current position as sales negotiator.
Achieving academic qualifications with BSc (Hons) Building Surveying DIS from University of Ulster in 2007 and following his professional experience in surveying he was nominated for placement student of the year.
After taking a year out to travel Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia he took up employment with Roads Service as a Statutory Functions Officer ensuring utility companies carried out work in accordance with legislation and standards detailed in Roads Service Policies. Traffic management on projects and involvement with projects such as junction improvement schemes were also part of the role but we try not to blame him for any of that.
After completion of his contract with Roads Service Michael went on to take up employment in the motor industry. Starting off as a service advisor he was involved primarily with customer relations, a demanding role which taught him the importance of effective communication, carrying out work efficiently and keeping the focus centrally on the needs of the client.
This role then led on to a position within the sales team of one of the most popular brands within the largest independently owned vehicle dealer in Northern Ireland. This was a demanding role with responsibility to sell both new and used vehicles. After three enjoyable years in this role Michael made the move into the property market and joined the team at Hannath where the skill sets he has develop and original qualifications can now come together and be put to good use.
Outside of work Michael is a keen amateur photographer and is also avid football fan and spends most of his time listening to all forms of music, most of it predating his birth.
